Heyday grows lineup with the all-new WT-Surf, its biggest model yet.

KNOXVILLE, TN — Heyday® Wake Boats introduces the WT-Surf, the latest and largest addition to its line of innovative, affordable wake sports boats. Heyday’s largest model yet is also its most comfortable, offering more for riders and spectators alike.

With an overall length of 25 feet, 1 inch, the WT-Surf boasts a running surface of 23 feet, 6 inches. It also features Heyday’s signature hull that’s specifically engineered to create a clean, powerful wake for boarding and surfing—without relying on expensive tabs and other wake-shaping devices. With a 17-person capacity, the boat’s dual-console arrangement creates distinct areas for socializing in the bow, cockpit and stern. The WT-Surf comes as a complete boat, motor, and trailer package with a starting price of just $54,499.

“We listen to boaters’ wants and needs, and we keep innovating new ways to deliver,” said Heyday’s President, Keith Yunger. “They want a wake boat that gets the job done for the riders, and is also comfortable for friends and family to spend the day on. And they want it for tens of thousands less than the competition.”

The integrated ballast tanks, which are controlled by simple toggle switches at the helm, can accept up to 2,800 pounds of water combined. For a consistent wake, an analog fuel gauge and mechanical speed control are also included, with optional Zero Off® GPS Speed Control available.

Below the water, Heyday’s unique 117-degree transom angle creates a better wave shape for superior push. When the boat is pitched, radiused transom corners work in concert with the transom angle to create a natural curl. For wakeboarding, the extra-wide transom helps counteract prop torque, preserving the wake symmetry riders value. To help achieve greater displacement, innovative Bailing Strakes™ push water from beneath the hull, reducing the boat’s resistance to downforce. Combined with its exceptionally deep aft freeboard, Heyday displaces more water to generate an optimal wake.

The spacious bow offers plenty of seating, and all three seats can store items like surfboards and life jackets. In the cockpit lounge, a removable backrest allows for forward cruising or watching the rider in back. The stern’s unique ‘hot tub’ seats are curved for equal comfort whether facing aft or forward, and lift for easy access to dry gear storage from the cockpit and wet gear from the swim platform. The rich upholstery includes increased foam density and new double-seam stitching, and standard armrests deliver added comfort.

The WT-Surf features a windshield with opening center panel and side wings, and extra-deep gunnels that provide added safety and a dry ride, even in rougher water. The bow’s twin sponsons enable the boat to take on large waves while returning to the rider without taking on water, and give the boat overall stability at slower speeds.

The sturdy wake tower folds aft for easier storage, and delivers quality sound via a 4-speaker Bluetooth® enabled sound system with head unit, pre-wired for extra speakers.
An optional ski pylon located on the transom step adds to the WT-Surf’s sport capabilities. The boat is finished with non-skid SeaDek® flooring throughout, including a new walkthrough from the cockpit to the removable swim platform. The WT-Surf’s sleek exterior profile is complete with attractive gel coat graphics.

The optional digital screen upgrade can connect to the sound system or GoPro®, and process engine data including gallons per hour, RPM, fuel, volts, GPS speed, engine hours, oil pressure, and engine temperature. An integrated glass dash upgrade is also available.

Power choices include a Crusader® Challenger 5.7L 350 HP, a Mercury 6.2L 320 HP, and others providing up to 409 HP, for plenty of power to pull riders, even with full crew and ballast. Heyday’s new WT-Surf truly delivers more room, more ballast, and more value than other boats its size.
